Structure the pre-writing process. Draft:Builder leads students through the three key steps in creating a first draft: organizing ideas, taking notes and writing the draft
DWW016 Single User £99.00
Draft:Builder is for pupils who find the linear process of planning and drafting a written assignment difficult. By showing a visual, non-linear map view and bullet-pointed, linear view it is particularly useful to children who have sequencing difficulties. Draft:Builder takes pupils through three steps involved in producing written work: gathering, organising and then synthesising information. Gathering information is completed through the Outline screen where pupils can brainstorm ideas and see them presented in both map and list format; the notes section lets them expand and re-order their ideas while the drafting section lets them fill out their notes into full sections.
