Build
essential skills for computer-based learning
- Pupils
learn cause-and-effect skills with a single switch joystick,
mouse or touch screen.
Help pupils understand cause-and-effect and choice-making
- Animated
characters respond to pupils' input.
Promote interaction through literacy
- As
pupils develop basic skills in a literacy-rich environment they
learn valuable communication skills.
The
Press-to-Play Series gives you an effective, easy-to-use tool
for teaching the basic single-switch skills that are the foundation
of computer-based learning. The series also works with a joystick,
mouse or touch screen, enabling you to select the device most
appropriate for each pupil's ability. Pupils' inputs activate
short animated situations that help them understand cause-and-effect
and decision making while introducing them to using a computer.
Simple scanning teaches pupils to observe, wait and select. "Teacher
Screen" permits quick setup of every session to match the
pupil's needs and abilities. The four titles in the series are
designed to keep pupils engaged and increase interaction during
the learning process.
Meet the needs of pupils who:
- lack
basic computer input and control skills
- are developing cause-and-effect
or choice-making skill
- are
working on early literacy skills
