Learners who need to use switches to access the computer need a wide range of learning materials. They need to develop both the ability to use their switches effectively, and also move on cognitively. Activities are needed from simple cause and effect, through making choices, developing language concepts to quite complex tasks using their switches to express themselves or record learning.
A friendly monster encourages the children to make the right selections. Animated rewards motivate success.
Fully configurable, and configurations can be saved with, for example, a user's name and then re-loaded for that user. The configuration menu allows you to select:
- Single/two switch or mouse operation
- Background colour and scan colour
- Whether text or speech or both are used
- Which concepts are to be practised
- Which activities are to be used for the concept
