Switch On Series teaches early language development, switch training, developing visual discrimination, cause and effect and improving response time. The level of the activity can be changed to meet the needs of your student. They can be operated with a mouse, the Spacebar, a switch or a touch screen.
They have four basic activities: picture building, build up a picture then see it animate; picture matching, matching using pictures; reaction timing, press a switch when the picture appears; and speech recognition, respond to a spoken prompt.
These programs are appropriate for students with physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities such as autism and perceptual impairment developing.
