SwitchIt! Ziko World

Exciting games with quality graphics to interest learners of all ages.

DWS001 Single User £25.00 (£29.38 inc. VAT)

Learners who need to use switches to access the computer need a range of software in order to motivate them to develop their ability to use switches. The computer can also give them relative independence in learning new software.

SwitchIt! Ziko World is designed to help switch users develop their ability to use switches through a games format. As such it should appeal to older learners as well as younger ones.

Ziko, an alien, has crash-landed his spaceship on a desert island. The user has to rescue him from the island, help him rebuild and refuel the spaceship, and have some earth-type fun before taking off back home to his own planet.

The software is designed to develop the switch skills of targeting and anticipation.

The Games:

Rescue - Ziko has landed in his spaceship on a desert island. Press the switch at the right moments to guide the helicopter through the clouds to the island and rescue Ziko.

Target - Use targeting skills to select components in order to rebuild Ziko's spaceship.

Pleasuredome - Ziko has a little time off for recreation. Guide him through the pleasuredome, pausing to dance etc.

Refuel - Guide Ziko to refuel the new spaceship.

Take off - Finally the ship is ready for take-off. Navigate the lifts to the top of the gantry. Once Ziko is back in his ship he can set off for home.
