Parenting Snakes and Ladders

Parenting skills in a non threatening, non competitive game

DWK002 Single User £34.00 (£39.10 inc. VAT)

Parenting Snakes and Ladders takes the familiar format and applies it to the important emerging subject of parenting skills. To go up the ladders and avoid the snakes players have to choose the best option for dealing with a range of parenting problems. Each problem has three choices and players can choose from five age groups from baby to teenager.

The game has 75 parenting dilemmas, 75 health and development questions and over 40 general discussion themes. All text is spoken as well as appearing on screen.

Parenting Snakes and Ladders aims to be co-operative rather than competitive so players have to pool their knowledge and skills to reach the top. Developed by a multi-disciplinary Childcare Partnership team and suitable for use in school, youth clubs, parenting classes, family centres and with other parents groups.

Recommended age 14 years and upwards

Key features:

  • 75 parenting dilemmas
  • 50 general health and development questions
  • 24 general discussion themes
  • All text is spoken
