DWE001
Discontinued
Produced
with a focus towards children, but could be useful for adults
too.
The
program includes a number of activities:
- revealing all or part of a picture
- painting pictures by area, groups,
or using a grid.
Options include colours on/off, stepping through colours, by choosing
colours from a palette.
Activities can be set in one of the many styles available, including
loading your own pictures to use. Any configuration can then be
saved to disc.
Works with touch screen or other access/input system that controls
the mouse.
Note: Knockout can be set up to use the sound effects files produced
by the program Listen Hear, or can just use standard .wav files.
Knockout lets the user change areas of an image - such as the
colour of windows and the door in a house, or colours in patterns.
Some options enable users to receive a sound reward on completion
of a task. Reveal allows you to uncover areas of an image in steps,
including a 'snaking' option that only permits a limited area
of the image to be on view at any one time. Both programs allow
you to include your own pictures.
