Sound Beginnings 1 is designed to encourage vocalisation through exploration and skills building exercises.

It aims to develop basic awareness of the dimensions of speech, such as volume, inflection, pitch and breath control. Fully configurable, the software enables you to select appropriate sounds, words and phonemes for your pupils and gives you the opportunity to view each user record. It holds pupils interest through dynamic visuals and rewarding feedback.

Exercises include:

Gradually revealing pictures through sound stimulus

Rewarding pupils to say specific words

Encouraging extensive language work development

Promoting fun experimentation with sounds

Please note that from the 1 January 2010 the standard rate of VAT will change from 15% to 17.5%.
