You can use any of the extensive colour or black & white Widgit Rebus Symbols, the additional pictures and symbols supplied with Communicate: In Print 2, or add your own clip art or photographs.
As well as the many examples included with the program, you can edit or create your own resources.
The program comes with two levels of editor. A simple one so that existing template activities can have their content very easily changed and extended. This will serve the purposes of most teachers as a large range of "models" will be provided. There is also a full editor for those wishing to create activities from scratch.
Silhouettes are an option in the program. You don't need extra graphics
The program is suitable for whiteboards, touch screens, mouse trackerball as well as being fully switch operable.
The program will be supported with coherent sets of resources "ready to go" covering a range of educational topics. Many of these will be developed in conjunction with the Symbols Inclusion Project.
'Comunicate: By Choice' can be purchased as stand alone program with the full Widgit Rebus symbol set.
