Based on standard monitors with built-in speakers from manufacturers such as NEC, LG, Philips and Samsung these monitors have a tough scratch resistant touch sensitive membrane surface. The driver software gives you access to windows software as if you were using a mouse and clicking the left button. Children and adults with learning difficulties find these monitors instictively easy to use because there is a more direct conceptual link between what they can see, what they do and what happens.

The monitors come with USB touch interface as standard but the older serial version can still be obtained, on request.

The exact models of monitor available change rapidly and, apart from a period of acute shortage earlier in the year, prices seem to have continued to fall. We will discuss the models and variations available when you place your order.

These CRT touch monitors are based on the standard "TV" type of monitor. They have advantage of size and stability over the newer LCD touch monitors. However, they are physically quite large and will take up more space.

Please note that from the 1 January 2010 the standard rate of VAT will change from 15% to 17.5%.
