Keyboard Enhancement Skills.

Keyboard Crazy - Cream £49.50 (£56.93
inc. VAT)
It has been PROVEN to make a significant contribution to the acquisition
of keyboarding skills with pupils in Keystage 1-2 in Mainstream
Schools and a variety of Keystage 1-3 pupils in special schools.
With
ICT playing a major part of the curriculum, now is the time to
address the fundamentals: Pupils need basic keyboard skills to
enable them to key in their names and passwords and to access
the software faster, thus gaining more time in actual ICT learning.
It is a hardware board game (note: no software is included) that
directly imitates a QWERTY keyboard. It therefore facilitates
learning away from the computer rather than being dependant upon
them. Pupils have to match letters by placing tiles in the correct
slot, and there are many fun and interactive activities and games
that can be invented around this basic concept. It helps younger
players learn the transition from lower to upper case and the
literacy lesson plans allow the game to be played anytime.
Keyboard
Crazy will enable pupils to become more efficient and more confident
in their management of the computer keyboard
The
Left and Right hand board is an extremely competetive way to
encourage children to use their correct hands when typing and
avoid cross-over.
The more the game is used leads to increased typing speeds
Not only does Keyboard Crazy help improve keyboard awareness,
it also increases typing speeds at an amazing rate.
