This textphone, the Minicom Pro 8000 LVD has a built-in Large Visual Display with a one-line screen format showing twenty extra large characters. This makes this textphone the most suitable product for anyone who would benefit from large character display.
This new textphone has a built-in wide paper printer and uses the new V18 protocol allowing easier communication with other textphones. It can only operate by Direct Connection into a telephone line - no acoustic coupling is available.
Large Print produced from the printer is also available for this model.
